On the 23rd of December we continued on with filming and we started getting some studio shots The filming mainly consisted of getting shots of the guitars and drum being played as this is something that is a really important part of our video. We recreated Kings Of Leon with some musicians and recorded a cover of the song we are doing, Use Somebody.
I feel that the filming and taking photos was a lot more successful than the "green screen disaster" as they were very co-operative and even shared some ideas with us to help us cover all the conventions of an indie band which really helped us a lot. We got everything we needed and we are now able to edit some footage and create our ancillary products as these pictures were urgently needed.
This photo is one of my favourite photos because its a close focusing on the front man who does the singing which is an important convention of an indie Rock video and its also my favourite photo because they have the same make of guitar in very similar models which was fate. Caleb Followill (the front man of Kings Of Leon) plays Gibson's and the models are essentially the same. i found this link on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3fI7vJgQZE from 1.48 you can see the actual guitar he plays which is very similar to the one which will be included in our video.
